TabFlow respects your privacy. Our extension operates entirely on your local device and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or browsing data to external servers.

What Information TabFlow Accesses

TabFlow temporarily accesses the following information to provide its functionality:

Tab URLs and Titles Used exclusively for organizing tabs by domain and sorting alphabetically. This information is processed locally and never stored or transmitted.
Tab Groups Used to create, modify, and manage tab groups for organization purposes. All group data remains within your browser.
Active Tab Information Used to ensure proper extension functionality and provide real-time statistics about your browsing session.

What TabFlow Does NOT Collect

Data Processing and Storage

Local Processing Only

All tab organization and processing happens entirely within your Chrome browser. TabFlow:

No External Data Transmission

TabFlow does not communicate with external servers, analytics services, or third-party platforms. Your tab information never leaves your device.

Chrome Extension Permissions

TabFlow requests the following Chrome permissions to function properly:

"tabs" Permission Required to access tab URLs for domain extraction and tab titles for sorting. This enables the core functionality of organizing tabs by website domain.
"tabGroups" Permission Required to create, modify, and remove tab groups. This is essential for the organization features that group related tabs together.
"activeTab" Permission Required for proper extension initialization and to provide real-time statistics about your current browsing session.

These permissions are used exclusively for tab organization functionality and never for data collection or tracking purposes.

Third-Party Services

TabFlow does not integrate with or share data with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or external APIs. The extension operates as a completely self-contained tool within your browser.

Data Security

Since TabFlow does not collect or store any user data, there are no data security risks associated with external data breaches or unauthorized access. All processing occurs locally within Chrome's secure extension environment.

Children's Privacy

TabFlow does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since our extension does not collect any personal information from users of any age, it is safe for use by individuals of all ages.
